Give Your Pup The Gift Of A Secure, Private Dog Field
Letting your dog run off steam and exercise in their very own dog park is an amazing experience!
Hi Gang
We are well and truly into 2025 now, and I hope you like the new look menu on the newsletter website page to make it easier for you to find your favourite posts!
The free subscriber articles have The Happy Dog Journal™️ on them, while the Club members have their own section, too.
This week we have been finishing up our Christmas Holiday, and are going back to seeing clients from the 7th onwards. That is not to say we have not been busy behind the scenes! But it is nice to be able to work in a dressing gown instead of muddy trainers and wellies occasionally.
But I miss those little floofer faces when I’m off work, so I will be glad to see them and hear all about how they got on over Christmas and the New Year fireworks. Normality is now back upon most of us; nobody appreciates that more than our dogs.
If you need to get in touch about your dog, and anything that has gone on over the past few weeks please do contact me here or book a call here.
Don’t forget - Fun Not Fear® Club members get access to me every week to answer in-depth questions about their dogs.

My sister announced she is getting married this year … It's about a three to four-hour drive away from here. So that would leave us in a quandary as to how to best take care of our pets.
Luckily, I know a thing or two about petsitters (seeing as I look after dogs with extra needs in their own homes so their dogparents can have a break.)
I wrote this article a while back, so if you are in the same situation, you know you have options.

This week, my mum took me to a new, secure, private dog field in Freckenham!
I had so much fun running around and letting off some steam in the winter sunshine. It was great to find such a clean and well-looked-after field. As with all things, some fields are nicer than others, but we have a few that we quite like, and Freckenham is one of them!
High-energy floofers like me need a chance to burn off some energy sometimes, and being on a lead is great, but it doesn’t always allow for much running. And some of us, with leaf addictions, are not very reliable off-lead when faced with fluttering greenery.
Secure fields are a great way to conquer this.
Our favourite local fields are:

This week, I was asked whether dog heads have different names. The answer is “yes,” and there are important reasons why we should be able to distinguish which shape is which (the cephalic index).
